The summer of 2009 I had the unpleasant task to obtain quotes and have my chimney completely rebuilt and my roof replaced.  I wanted the best possible job at the correct price. 

I contacted 8 different roofing companies/brick masons.  Some said they would come and around and give me a written quote and never showed up, others showed up and gave me verbal quotes, and 4 actually gave me professional written quotes which ranged from 6,000-10,000.  2 brick masons actually contracted a price and schedule and then cancelled out when I asked for the proper business and insurance numbers and /or just cancelled.

Alpine roofing was a professionally done written quote, followed up by a phone call to inquire as to my satisfaction and one of the lowest in price in roofing and chimney replacement.  I had already committed to another roofing contractor but I chose Alpine to do the chimney.

Renato Fernandes of Alpine roofing handled the pricing and schedule and Guy and Noel showed up to do the chimney, on schedule, professional and neat and friendly to myself and close neighbors.  Their workmanship was superb!  They assured me I would be satisfied and I was.
